    clunking at slow speeds

When i am crusing at parking lot speeds and i go over slight bumps or dips i hear/feel a clunking or poping sound that is seeming coming from the front near or in the strut tower assembly. I also feel like i am getting more play in my stearing, could these both be contributed to my CAB. Thanks

sounds like its your front strut mounts, they're pretty cheap to replace and not hard to do.

They dont break like the rears do.

Check to see if the shocks collar nuts are coming loose and letting the shocks bang around in the strut tube. Also make sure the sway bar is all secure; sometimes the rubber for those falls out and it'll clunk around then.

I had that same problem, I couldnt' figure out what was going on for the longest time and then noticed it one day.

              i have similar clunking.

it's probably the collar nut (as one backs out on the track completely) or swaybar endlinks. [from what people said on e30tech]

so I'll clean off my strut and take the collar nut all the way out and tighte them way down.
