Turbo - What washer fluid tank works?

If this fits somewhere else in a better sub forum feel free to move it. I searched and could not find anything.

With a top mount turbo you of course lose the stock location for a washer tank/bottle. Is anyone out there using a tank/bottle from a different car or something? Preferably something on the driver's side. I have tons of room over there and virtually none on the passenger side because my 318's coils are sitting in the formerly unused battery tray.

Any help is appreciated guys. Going on a 3000 mile road trip soon and the wife said we NEED a functioning washer fluid setup.

You can use the IX window washer. It goes in the place where a battery would go in a vert.

maybe you could relocate your coil packs to make way for the IX tank?

E36 with a somewhat temporary bracket that mounts to where the airbox used to be. Sorry for the rather messy/dirty engine bay, hah

I like the looks of the ix one but the functionality of the e36. I am doing a bunch of other stuff and would want to hold off on doing cop atm. Plus i'd worry my downpipe would melt it.

Does the e36 one accept the e30 pump? If not I can get an e36 one but just curious. Thanks the suggestions and photos... exactly what I was lookiing for.

Man I should have created a thread like this months and months ago. I thought I could do without washer fluid, but this winter is just killing me with the salt. So an e36 tank will fit on the driver's side?

You turbo m20 guys... can you use an m42 radiator and still get enough cooling? Then you could ditch that horrid expansion tank.

Also that turbo s14 is like woah. But I don't see the windshield washer tank...?

yeah genius up there obviously owns that car since he did away with his coolant reservoir in exchange for a "washer tank".Ive been wondering how to get rid of the coolant reservoir as its hideous with my turbo set up looking so nice but i think im going to make a custom aluminum one to fit in there and clean the look up
