For the most part, P codes are standard on OBD-II. Manufacturers will have their own code associated in most cases, and they can be more specific from the OBD ones.

my rx8 throws this code. but i removed the cat pipe with the o2 sensor. :D

didnt know codes were standardized.

thats the wonder of obdII. everything is standardized, the plug where you hook to the scanner, codes, and numerous other things.
