    Problem starting

Today was the second time since I put together my motor that I've had a problem with starting. What happens is the starter cranks like a champ, but the engine just will not catch. The battery is fully charged, the engine runs perfectly, but it will not turn over from the starter. Out of like 50 or so starts since I got the car running it has happened twice. No matter how long I crank, the engine will not catch. Both times I've had to push start the car and both times that has working perfectly. So what do you guys think is the problem?

OK new development. I just figuered out that the engine does in fact turn over. Turns over just as it should. However no mater how long I crank for it will not fire up. Obviously there's a problem with either the fuel or spark. So what and how do you guys suggest I check?

      What car is it?
Check the reference and speed sensors if it has them, they run up and mount on the valve cover on some models.
You should have some a/c voltage created during cranking.
