yes, so i tried to remove those sheared bolts. it was starting out fine, dril went in and started to develop a nice hole. then i tried my "trusty" extractor bit, and then thats when it happened, drill couldnt hold the bit, so i tried by hand, and thats when the extractor bit sheared inside the block. now what? im screwed right? i dont want to pay top $$ to some shop to have them take it out, but thats what its looking like, or i can start to take the money i have and start then rather buying sway bars, to gather parts together to start to rebuild it or replace it. any help would be great.

well you could just drill the whole thing out, why do you need an extractor bit? just drill it all out and then tap it and heli coil it. heli coils are about 15$ they come with the tap, and then you just have to get the right size drill bit. id ont even bother with the extractor bits those things are shit. -

i will try to get it out, and maybe take the engine out, and try to tap it again, but we shall see. i hope i can win this one...Comment

thats the reason why i hate e-z-out's, they snap and you are fucked, they are super hard, forget about using drill bits. I just pay someone to remove things like that now, last time an e-z-out snapped we used a plasma cutter to remove it :oJust a little project im working on

if sheared means what i think it does, just take a dremel tool and cut a nice slot in it then take it out with a flat heat screw driverComment

if it were that easy i would have done that already, its flush, and i would rather not sloth the block. good idea though, and i though about that one.Comment
