    Replacing a deleted A/C

Does anyone know about how much it would cost to replace an A/C system that has been deleted? Thanks.

Dude, you really need to post more information than that. We can't spoon feed you. Are you buying everything new? Are you doing the work? How much of it was deleted?

Sorry. It'd be on an e30 with an m52 swap with a full delete. I suppose an approximation for new and used parts with labor.

Sorry for the lack of info, its not my car, just one im looking to buy. Id assume the compressor and lines are out but the dash box is in bc I think it has heat.

Well most of the AC parts are cheap and easy to find because everyone is removing it. Pretty much the only custom parts you need are the lines that go to the compressor. Buy a R134a retrofit kit while your at it when you put it together.

I found the big parts for about $200 on ebay total (compressor, condenser, dryer, evaporator). Am i missing anything else major? Any idea of what the labor costs would be at a shop?

labor costs vary by area, figure 80-150 per hour, and (just a guess) 6-8 hrs to do the job
I saved 15% on my Bimmer parts by switching to ...
