Well then, I will drain and re-fill. I don't know what the PO used, but the problem was there before I bought the car.

Should I just get a new pump or what?

You could probably rebuild, or have your pump rebuilt...should be easier to just grab one from a Jy though, maybe cheaper too?

The junkyards around me rarely ever have e30's.. maybe I'll just buy one.

How hard are these to swap..?

Ok so I just went ahead and bought a used power steering pump. I'll let you guys know what the hell happens.
