    Radiator fan switch

Has anyone here upgraded their radiator fan switch from the 91 degree to the 82 degree? I was wondering if it was really worth it and if it would be necessary.

Currently my low fan switch does not work and I am planning on autocrossing my car this summer=possible overheating. Should I just go with the stock 91 degree or the lower temp?

Also, should I keep my 99 degree or get a lower temp for that too?

So nobody has ever been involved with this issue? I'm just looking for a quick answer because its starting to get hot out and my car isn't liking stop-and-go traffic.

The aux fan has two different kinds of switches?

I need to change mine. I will probably put in the lower one, thanks for letting me know the options.

      Sold it.

You can also run the 318ti switch which I think is 80/88. This is what I have in mine.

With that setup does your fan run constantly? If so, do you notice your alternator pulling more power from your engine?

to keep this thing from going up to 3/4 on the water temp needle is there a way to plug the high speed wire to the lower of the two temp switches so it doesnt get so hot?

                3/4

So there is a way to keep it from going 3/4?

It is getting to 80's here, and having to ride with heat on sux. I really need to dig into this...

Aux fan never comes on on my 88.
