Good deal on e46 Should I?

Have the chance to pick up a super clean e46 323i. All cooling hoses, radiator and o-rings replaced. No dents-interior mint-highway miles high mileage car. Low $2k.. Is it worth it? I would use it as an e30 saver car mostly..

check for rear subframe damage. e46s are pretty sturdy for the 323 or 328 models you want to avoid ones that are auto because they have a failing reverse drum. other than that they're pretty sturdy.

323's aren't bad, auto's suck but my mom had one for 3 years or so; aside from cooling issues and auto issues car was a good car; averaged 25 mpg. The 323 can take all the 328 intake and exhaust manifold parts for some power boost.

This is not technical at all, belongs in Gen disc. Buy it if you want too.
