    Swap or what?

My tranny is about shot in my 325e and I don't want to just buy another e transmission. I was either considering upgrading to an i engine and transmission or even an m50 or s50. I know the price increased a good bit with those options, but would it be worth my time or should I just hunt around for a good e tranny. Keep in mind that I'm a poor college student with grad school coming up in a year.

That's what I think I'm going to end up doing. Do you know of where I can get one that is in decent condition.

I would love to upgrade to an i motor, but how much does it cost? I can't really afford to spend over $1000. And that's even a bit pricey. I'll probably just get the e tranny.
