I've got two separate keys right now. Is there any reasonably easy way to match the other locks to my ignition key?

If one key works all of the doors and trunk, but not the ignition, the odds are that someone has swapped out the ignition cylinder with a used part. What I'd do in that case is to go to my dealer with proof of ownership and ID and have them order a cylinder (and key or two) that match what the VIN calls for. Doing that will return the car to original configuration with one key working everything. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

or, it's possible they changed the door lock cylinders and trunk? can't be for certain. So as mentioned bring the ownership and trace the correct key code and you will know whether it was the ignition or lock cylinders which were changed. It would be a bummer to order a new ign lock cyl only to find out it is the same one in the car. Easier to take the door lock cyl out; disassemble the key code and check it with the code registered to the vin providing the one key works all the locks on the car. But I would suspect it is also the ign because it is easier to change one then to change 3.sigpicComment

Well bud, you either change it again or.. be happy with your decision.lol or, find out the keycode for your new ign cylinder and take out the door locks and re-code them. You can take them apart and buy a rebuilt kit for like 35.00 ea. you just take the lock apart and when you remove the tumblers make sure you match the ign key code with the repair kit and you'll be set. But it won't be vin correct.sigpicComment
