    If I snap an exhaust manifold (m42) stud . . .

On the downpipe side, and I booger up the threads, what size helicoil kit to put in? I am buying all my supplies now so I dont take the shit off and go, "O I need that." I'm buying 4 spare studs, 2 helicoil kits, and 4 new squish nuts.

are you saying you buggered up the threads on the stud or the exhaust side?
Well first off you'll have to take out the exhaust manifold because I doubt you can do heli on the car. Second you have to drill out the remainder of the bad thread and re install the same diameter heli that matches the thread pitch and diam of the new stud. realoem part number is:11621728372 x4 I believe the nuts are M10 copper. as for the kit, since I don't know what the actually diam of the stud is it's hard to say. take the broken one with you to size it up.

They aren't studs they are bolts that are spot welded to hold them in place. Thus there aren't any threads to tap and helicoil. The welds have to be cut, they can't be just pounded out. Believe me I have tried.
what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.

Yea tonight I went up in there to take a look at what they are. What if I completely drill them out or is the flange pretty thick? Or is there no way around taking off the manifold?

If you wind up having to replace the studs you'll need to remove the exhaust manifold.

The nuts can usually be removed. Soak them with PBlaster for a couple of days while the car isn't being driven. Then use a six point socket and impact wrench on the nuts. You can probably get them off with a breaker bar, but the shocks delivered by the impact wrench works better.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
