Need to know if there is a difference in the early model aux fan with the straight paddle type blades and the later model with the s shaped blades. I have one of each, and if there is a "better" one to use, that is what I will go with. I know already that the connectors are different, but that is a minor issue. I am more concerned with a difference in CFM

I believe the fans are rated similarly. The usual reason for swept fan blades is noise reduction. If both fans are in equally good condition, I'd use the one with swept blades.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
