HELP! Truck Lock wont work!

Hey guys, so I picked up this E30 325is from some space cadet last week. I had to get the key fabricated from BMW because he could not find his. The key I got fabricated does not fit the trunk lock nor does it unlock when I unlock the doors.

I suppose I have to order a trunk lock with a separate key? How can I get this trunk open?

Does it open the drivers door if it does and unlocks everything including the trunk then you know the trunk lock actuator works and that he changed the trunk lock at some point

If my key opens the passenger and drivers side door, shouldnt it unlock the trunk? Its not even doing that
