OK its not an e30, but it probably works similarly. WHen i let the clutch out fast the pedal moves a fast as my foot but the slave moves slowly and there is a sound from down by the master cylinder that sounds like theres air in it or some thing and it moving through the line but i dont think there is. The clutch depresses fine. Because of this and my dads not listing to me the clutch is fried and im gunna have to tear the transaxle off then try to figure out what the hell the disk came from. Any ideas? i have yet to try and blead it but i dont think thats the problem becasue there is a good amount of pressure on the clutch
Clutch comes out slowly

Slight off-note, but on my friend's MR2 the same symptoms were a slave cylinder gone bad.

I doubt bleeding it will do anything. If you think about it there should be no need to bleed because unless you fiddled with it or it sprung a leak no air will be able to enter the system and cause the need to bleed. Something has failed. Does it slip if you floor it on the freeway in 4th or 5th gear?Adam Fogg- '88 M3
