    steering column lower housing?

Hey guys, I was replacing my flasher/blinker relay but I had trouble removing the lower plastic housing from the steering wheel column without breaking it. It should be simple right? There's one screw at the bottom. I can't find any other screws holding it in place. It just won't pry loose even with excessive force. Don't tell me I have to remove the whole steering wheel. The car in question has an air bag.

I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

you need to remove the steering wheel. there is one on the bottom that one you removed. however, there are 2 screws on the top cover securing the bottom one to it. those screws are hidden by the steering wheel

          It's an unnecessary PITA.
