I'm trying to figure out if I've got a leaky injector(s), a bad check valve in my fuel pump, or something else.
I've got a fuel gauge permanently mounted in front of the feed line on my track car's fuel rail. Sometimes after I kill the motor the fuel will stay around 40 psi for a few hours, sometimes a few days, recently two weeks...
Injectors have been recently rebuilt, but were ebay specials so that's not a guarantee, new fuel filter, aging high pressure pump.
I tried switching out a different FPR I've got, but didn't see any difference in leak down characteristics.
Thoughts?
