on my 1990 325i. SRS light blinks for a while, then it stays solid. The shop traced it to the crash sensors... they are both melted. they leaked tar through these tiny holes. I first noticed the problem after I unplugged the diagnostic panel (whatever it's called... has all the diagnostic lights on it)
The shop suggested I leave it be, since it's likely related to an electrical problem that fried the sensors... Anybody experience this before?
