    ABS Relay

Is the relay located under the driver side dash or do I need to take out the cluster to get to it?? Thanks.

It should be clipped on above the ABS computer on the left side of the steering wheel behind the knee bolster. You won't have to pull the gauge cluster to get to it.

pull the lower cover under the steering wheel.
you'll see the ABS computer. clipped to the bracket should be a relay, that's the overvoltage relay that blows up

no idea what this "rubber flap" is you're referring to.

you can repair your relay if you have some electrical know-how. the metal cover on the relay can be pulled off and the fusible link replaced with one from a similarly rated regular fuse. search around, i've seen posts on this in the past
