    Inspecting distributor cap and rotor, pics inside

    So I just pulled off my distributor cap and rotor for ispection. I installed them brand new just a week ago, and since then have only put on about 100 miles. This is what the contacts in the cap and the rotor look like:

    wow those pics are huge.

    maybe the rotor screw wasnt tight enough, letting it wiggle around and contact the cap too much
