My one friend drove through a puddle in an e36 328i and the motor started knocking. He put in another motor and it knocked even worse. He used all of his original sensors and wiring harness. So i got the motor off of him to rebuild for my e30. I was wondering if it was a spun bearing or something as simple as a sensor? Any ideas would be great. Id hate to rebuild it if it was something simple.
