    Very quick question!

I think I have a leak somewhere in my brake line because yesterday they were working and today my pedal is a half an inch from the car floor. I bought new ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid, can I just add it in?

Or do I need to flush the old before? It's still looks clean blue not dirty at all.

PS: any ideas on what happened ?

If you have a leak, flushing or adding brake fluid isn't going to help. The first thing to do is to inspect the brake lines and calipers to see if there is a leak. If you can't find a leak, the problem will be a failure of the master cylinder. In which case you need to check to see if brake fluid has leaked into the booster. If it has, both the booster and the master cylinder must be replaced. If you don't replace a booster that has been contaminated with brake fluid you will wind up replacing in days, weeks, or a month of so when it fails.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Check the brake fluid level. If it is low, you have a leak somewhere and it needs to be fixed. If it's full, then the master cylinder is bad. The latter is more likely, unless you live in the rust belt.

Yeah forgot to mention that my brake fluid is low.. 1/4 or so when I checked yesterday. So we know its leaking! How do I proceed, is it easy to do myself? never done this before

Look for something that's covered in brake fluid. Your leak will be near this!!!

My e30 doesn't like me yet. I just repaired the power steering leaks and two days later the brakes go bye bye
