You can also make yourself more comfortable and just take off the timing cover and use a breaker bar with a torx bit and turn the engine with the camshaft bolt.

Or just jump connections 11 and 14 on the diagnostic connector to manually use the starter motor. Which is the easiest way.

Turning by the cam is not a good way to turn the engine especially if the plugs are still in, you are trying to turn the engine over at a 1:2 ratio and is really hard on the T belt.

You can use that method as well in a level place. I would a higher gear like 4th, reverse is going to be the hardest to turn the engine over.
