Almost $60 for a fuel filter?!?!?!?!????!!!!!

Stopped in at the local stealer today to pick up an M20 fuel filter.....

..... I blinked and then stared at the parts guy like he had four heads when he said the filter was $56 + change/tax. I told him he could put it back on the shelf.

    Are they serious??????

    That's why it's the stealer.

Order from steve@blunttech.com. He is my go to guy for anything OEM.

Just email him what you need and you get the best price.

Reminds me, I should just have a direct deposit into his acct -_-.

napa gold, I *think* they're made by wix. Anywho, I've used them for years and been pleased. I suppose bosch would be the preferred if you're a purist.

Maybe it is because I'm a regular customer, but it looks like I paid about $15ea the last time I bought some filters (OE MAHLE-KNECHT) from my dealer. You can get the OE filter from rmeuropean.com and other places for a bit less than $14ea.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

If it did, I would've bought two of 'em.... :D

                  But it didn't.

That IS why they're called "stealers".....
