faulty fog light switch?

Neither of my fogs work (88 w/ ellips). Both fuses are good, bulbs are good, and I think the relay is good. When I take the relay out and try to put the fogs on, the dash indicator doesn't illuminate. With the relay in the indicator does. I assume this means the relay works. Leaving the last possible cause of the problem at the switch? Or could it still be the relay? Sorry, left my wiring diagrams at school. Happy holidays everyone. -Kevin

pull out the switch, take it apart, and clean all metal connections, then sand a smalll bit with some sand paper. it should work, has with all my switch needs

I replaced the relay and sanded down the switch contacts to no avail. The fog light indicator still comes on, so it thinks they're working. I guess the problem must be at the lights themselves? But what would make both go out simultaneously?
