vert vent window

    vert vent window

    i tried to search but found nothing....
    How does the vert vent window come out? i took out the one screw underneath, and then nothing budged? Any hints?

    I am planning on pulling this out of my old door today. Ill let ya know what i find.

      good question. i could never figure it out when replacing the seals on my door windows.

      i feel like it bolts in down at the bottom.

      it is definitely removable though.

        ok so that wasnt all that hard really. The problem lies in the fact that the rubber is one piece so it all has to be removed at once.

        Take out the screw under the window, and the plate that the screw holds in place. Also remove any of the upper door panel clips as they will cause some issues. What i did was slowly start to wiggle the glass around enough that i could get some WD sprayed in behind the gasket. wiggle some more and spray some more till you are able to slide the glass down and into the door. Be careful when pushing down, seems the door likes to bite fingers.

          cool, i took out the screw but didnt realize that the plate was removable, maybe mine has sort of fused itself in there. i appreciate the help, i will be in the frozen mud tomorrow and thought it was a bad time to be experimenting.
