    Brake system help...

Im having a inspection soon because im located in hawaii and thats how your able to run you car legally kind of like a smog check. well anyway, one of the checks is the e-brake, if it can still hold the car on a hill or to see if the car is still capable of not rolling back without pulling the e-brake that high. right now on a small hill the car e-brake cant hold it with just 3 clicks which i think is need to pass the inspection. i know in a drum brake system that they have a star wheel to expand the shoe to make it close to the drum for the e-brake, but the car is a disc brake system. anybody know how to help me out?? i already changed the brake pads not too long ago. well any help would be greatly appriciated. thanks in advance!!

Pop up the boot around the E-brake handle and tighten the cables some. And see if that helps. Tighten them up till it will hold at 3 clicks.

The disc brake system uses the star wheel also. The parking brake on the disc brake cars is a drum brake inside the rotor.
