    Gauge Cluster Upgrade

Thinking of getting a VDO Speedo, Tach, Water Temp & Fuel gauge to replace my VDO cluster. Few things I'm wondering:

Is there a diagram available so I could rig up the warning lights to a separate panel?

Would the SI board still need to be used for complete functionality?

Can this be done keeping stock integrity to some degree allowing a reversal at some point?

Interested to see how you go about this. Hopefully someone chimes in soon. I've been having cluster issues myself and after pulling it out and putting it back in constantly, I'm considering a VDO setup as well.

The SI board is required if you want the OBC to work. The remainder of the functions in the cluster can be replaced by lights & gauges, though I don't believe you will find a non-OE fuel or temp gage that will work with the OE sensors.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
