    Question..

    So today i unplugged my ECU to see what it was , & now my car idles funny .
    Anyone know what's going on?

    The key wasn't in the ignition .

    Your idle should get better after a little driving, or a few start-ups. If my thinking is right.
    '02 Outback wagon
    '87 325is 5sp

        Nope, still doing the same thing ..
        When i turn it on . It idles up and down from 300-500 .
        They eventually it'll stop.
        But when you turn the car off & back on it does the same thing.

          rev it close to redline and back. should adjust......

            Your ecu needs to relearn itself. Basically like a new car, should go away after a couple of days I promise you.

              transmission rebuilt , so i need to let it break in a bit .

              I will keep an eye out for a few days to see if it goes away .

              Ed, quick question - do you think this chip would do good in my car ?

                Please do not buy any $30 ebay chips!

                Spend some money and get quality MarkD chip.
