Hm. I have an m52tu for sale locally, with a blown headgasket. Should I buy it? Can I use parts of it with the M50 engine I already have to make one complete engine? (non vanos head, m52 bottom, or vice versa)

If I remember correctly the m52"tu" has double VANOS. That would make it unusable.
