    the chip is in

Just installed the J. conforti chip thanks to the generosity of fellow member and now friend uflnuceng. Only got to drive about a mile under 40 but can already tell the difference. The biggest being how smooth the car idles now. Ill update later after i really get to "test it out" after work

Alright i just came from a day of "testing out" the JC chip and this is what i think of it......the chip.......welll.......its amazing what somthing that small and easy to install can do. My car now idles sooooo smooth and it revs throught the power band alot smoother and stronger. My car feel so much better its def. worth putting premium fuel to get these results. The biggest difference is that i dont run out of pulling power as the engine revs up, It just keeps pulling harder and harder. I was doing 90 in 4th gear @ 5500 rpm. Im more then satisfied with the chip and even more greatfull that uflnuceng gave it to me. Thanks again. By the way he has a sick project in the works so everyone look out for postings from him. I'm just glad that im going to get to eventually see that beast in the making in person

Lsd gets you out of corners quicker and with more traction. Taking off quickly you have more traction since you have to spin BOTH tires instead of one. Lsd is a DEFINITE must IMO. The stock diff is a 3.73 for 325i 5spd's. The auto tranny one is a 4.10. The 4.1 with the 5spd will accelerate quicker because the revs will climb quicker because of the shorter ratio diff. But on the highway the engine will be turning at a higher rpm and it could be annoying for some. Also with the 4.1 you lose top speed, but IMO that doesnt even matter for a daily driver car that rarely if ever sees track time. If it was me, I would go for the 4.10 lsd if you dont mind the highway revs. Otherwise, get the 3.73 lsd.
