    PROBLEMS WITH CLUTCH HYDROLICS

posted this on some other forums and im just trying to get an answer as soon as possible

OK so i just got done replacing the clutch in our lola and i take it for a drive and all is well. Then my dad takes it and the clutch starts slipping again. well i take a look at it and i can see that the clutch arm is not all the way back. I freaked out because i thought i messed up something inside and was going to have to take off the transaxle again. I unbolted the slave cylinder and the arm punched back to the normal posistion so that means the problem is in the hydrolics. With the previous setup the slave would go back very slowly but i dont know if that was because of the slave or the very worn and old pressure plate.

I undid the bleed screw while applying pressure to the slave and fluid came out and the slave retuned to the normal posisition. So some how some extra fluid got in there. It seems like the slave probably didnt return all the way for some reason while the pedal did then when the pedal was pushed again extra fluid was put in but it could be something else.

What do you guys think the problem could be and what should i repalce?

thank you very much for your help, hopfully i will be able to get what i need ordered tonight

Ok so yesterday when i would push the clutch a few times to get the inside of the slave cylinder all the way out (it was off of the arm so there was no force to push it back). then i would try to push the inside of the slave back and it wouldnt move. (bad) Then i went down there this morning i pumped the pedal and the inside of the slave went back fine when i pressed on it (good). I thought it was the master cylinder but i looked at it and it looks new! should i still buy a rebuild kit? i have already gotten a bunch of brake fluid and i think in going to try to make a clutch stop. any other ideas?
