    Rear Wheel lock nut device

    Ok Guys

Ok another question on removing the rear wheel hub nut.
The locking flange does that need removal prior to the nut being turned? And if so do I use a screw driver in the slots to bend them inwards to make it loose ?

I just remove the nut and then pry out the lock ring.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

That would have to be #5.

Just use a small flathead screwdriver and walk out the lockring before attempting to loosen the hub nut.

If you are using a BIG air impact you can just pull the trigger and it will round out the lockring and both will come off in a matter of seconds.

OK guy's Got the lockring off and the socket fits perfect. Now I need to find a massive impact to get them off.
                  Thanks for all your help
