should not be hard at all really...especially since the M42 uses a real TPS sensor......get an SMT-6, get an MAF, install both, and modify the voltage values from the MAF to the ECU...WOW.....M42 MAF conversion would be cake.
PM or wait for Gstuning to show up. His name is Gunni, he's from Iceland, and he's one hell of a big help when you have questions about the MAF conversion or the SMT6.
I hear the M20 is gettting plenty spunk so the lighter M42 should get the same,
It all depends on what you really do, if you move to another fuel, a higher octane and the ignition is so advanced that you can´t run the bad stuff anymore, that and perfect fuel and you got your self as much power as you can get out of "chip" tuning
And which MAF should I be getting for the M42 MAF conversion project?
I might go for UNIChip.
This would be future project.
MOD fund is low at the moment... sigh... :(
