    antenna mast removal

ok so the mast that was in there was kinked and needed to be replaced so i got a new mast and went to install it... that was a total failure... the damn locknut that holds the thing in place was completly and totally seized and is now shredded to nothingness after being rounded over by the wrench and then being ground away by vice grips (gotta love friggin brass)

how the hell am i supposed to get this thing outta there
    anyone have any ideas

pull it out from the bottom.
Grease up the antenna grommet, remove the power antenna motor from the inside, then removing the mast should be easy.

i ended up just picking up a whole new power antenna...(black one even) i tried the cutting it off thing only problem with that approach is once you cut it there is no getting it outta antenna since its bonded to it... tried for like 6 hrs and then just gave up and bought a new one
