    Squeaky fan belts…

So I’ve got a loud continuous squeaking noise at idle coming from the front of my m20. At first I suspected the fan belts so I tried spraying them with belt anti squeal. That didn’t work. A friend of mine told me to spray them with a water hose. If the squeal went away I needed new belts. I did this, the squeal went away, I replaced all the belts and the noise continues…

Could the V in my pulleys be too worn? Could the shaft of the power steering, alternator, or AC be causing this noise?

    Any help is much appreciated!

You could have a bad bearing in one of the belt driven parts, or the belts may not be properly tensioned.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
