    Performance Chip help

What chip would you guys recommend? MarkD? Miller? Bavauto? Dinan?

I'm also planning on changing the injectors to the 19lb injectors, which chip would work good with these injectors?

    Thanks

MarkD. He has a specific chip for the 19lb injectors.

      MarkD chip is good.

Are you changing the fpr as well?

No need to change the FPR. Honestly you aren't going to see any gains swapping injectors, the stock ones are adequate unless you have upgraded everything else in the engine. The only advantage of mustang injectors is that they are a newer four pintle design and have better atomization.

Thanks for the advice buddy I already used the search function.

Anyways, where can I get the Markd chip from? I don't want to end up buying the fake one that one member was selling.

Everyone has a Markd, and etc chip. I really haven't seen millers products. I think in the long run miller will be better because if you decide to turbo or anything else you can just tune the miller chip and your good to go.IMO btw My brother is saving up for some of the miller products for his m20. and he upgraded to the m50 injectors #17.5

My injectors aren't so good so Im going to change it and mind as well go with something different so when I do decide to do more work the motor the injectors wouldn't be a problem. For now I just want to get the car running good.

Damn, you just beat me to it.

I used his chip in my eta. Absolutely loved it.

Depends on the injector. I use 19lb from E36 that need 3.5 bar for that flow, paired with a MarkD chip. For a couple of months i used the stock 3 bar fpr and there was mild pinging from 5k rpm at WOT.

Recently put in an IE adjustable and pinging is gone.

Agree that they are overkill for stock engine, but if current injectors need replacing, and upgrades are on the horizon then they would be worthwhile.

Acehye559 - seriously consider the Miller option. I've got a MAF and 19lb ECU on the way as my AFM is not 100% anymore. In the long term their WAR chip is an upgrade path.

But then, if you go turbo or serious mods then 19lb may not be enough?

BMW_318i and BMW_325i - thanks for the info. I looked at Miller products and only heard good things about them. However theyre a little pricey, I mean you get what you pay for. I was looking at their Miller Maf kit with the Miller chip and really interested. But I also know another member here (Castro) has similar kits for a little cheaper. His kit works well with larger injectors. So really got to do more research and see which one is worth getting.

I decided that Im going to stick with MarkD for now. I dont want to spend too much because I still need to buy wheels and a sound system.

Just double check, is anyone running the Markd with the 19lb injectors? What else would I need to change with the Markd chip?
