    Gas tank

My gas tank is rusted and has started leaking quite a bit. I'm really trying to avoid paying $300+ for a new gas tank, so I'm going to see if I can get it repaired.

If not, is there a cheaper alternative to the OEM gas tank? I've read about people finding aftermarket gas tanks for cheap but I can't seem to get a definitive answer as to where they're available.

    Thanks

If the tank has rusted to the point of leaking, it is beyond repair. A cheaper alternative to a new tank is to find a good used one at a salvage yar.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Rockauto has them for about 175 if that's any consolation

also try AutoZone. I got one shipped to my door along with $30 rebate (gift cards were sent) that put it around $196 delivered.

Well technically you can cut the whole piece out with radios of rust and re-weld it but that would cost you more then the gas tank it self.
