driveshaft query

Does anyone know if the REAR sections of the driveshafts are interchangeable between autos, manuals, etas, is, and cabrios?

Im asking because I am a cheap son of a bitch (broke too) and dont want(cant afford) to shell out for a complete reman shaft. If the rear section is universal, then it would save me a boatload of cash until I can afford to get a rebuilt unit.

You can't interchange parts of different drive shafts. They have to be balanced as a complete assembly.

There's a good shop in phoenix that can rebuild and balance drive shafts. It's called phoenix rack and axle I think. I used them once to rebuild and balance a driveshaft for an eta. Cost about 80 bucks.
