Need to fix my slave cylinder next 15min break.

So yesterday and this morning It has been really hard to get my car into gear, especially 1st or 2nd, I thought my clutch stop wasn't allowing my clutch to fully depress so I pulled my clutch pedal back to adjust the stop and now i just realized that I must have pulled the pedal too much and the pin has popped out of the slave cylinder. That is a ball on the pin and when I I try to put it back in the cylinder it is bending the metal at the entrance. I only had 10 mins to look at it but I'm hoping to be able to fix this during my next 15min break.

I was going to give a girl a ride home but if my clutch pedal is F'ed then she'll be riding home with someone else...

If i get the pin back in the cylinder it should be good to go right? Just need some advice before I go back out there.
West German BMWs, they just don't make the same as they did before the wall fell.
^Case in point: Auto-Repair Technology. Everytime my car isn't starting or acting up I let it sit, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. But it eventually fixes itself.

If you've pulled the pedal back and donw what you say you have, that's the master, not slave

Yeah master cylinder I think. When you push the clutch in it pushes the rod into the cylinder right there underneath the steering column. I pulled that out of the cylinder. Going to see if it will go back in now... I just really don't want to have to pay to have it towed somewhere. Maybe I'll let it sit and put a new master cylinder in the parking lot.

Lookslike you've popped of the circlip that holds it in place, should be in the car, maybe under the seat somewhere?

The circlip got bent i suppose, popped it back in but the circlip is shot. Hopefully it holds.
