How the fuck did #17 "fall out" that's what # 18 is for, to keep the pin in.

Anyway as I said in that previosu thread, it can be done and it's not that hard. Feel the hole it has to go in with your fingers, push the pin in with a screwdriver tip or something then put the circlip on.

It's just tough because everything is in the way and this was in the parking lot of my work.

Oh well. A ziptie allowed me to limp home in third gear (wanted second).


The coupler needs to be pushed in a little for the hole to line up and it's hard to do that and put the pin in the hole, and push up all at the same time. I'll try again friday/saturday. In the meantime, ETA PIMPIN'.

I posted in haste on the basis that most of Robert's recent posts have been circling around the fact that he is so great and superior to everyone else, yet he lacks the skills to insert a dowel into a pivot coupler. It was somewhat in jest, but I'm also attempting to publically ridicule him in a last ditch effort to prove that he is not any better than the rest of us
