    Throttle Body Decision

I'm planning on building an intake similar to this for my M42 swap.

I don't really want to use the M42 throttle body though due to it's weird shape. I'd like to go with something like and M50 throttle body since the TPS is the same as the M42, but the linkage on them is just so over done and tacky looking. M44 looks pretty good, but I'm wondering about diameter. I figure if I am switching, I might as well go bigger, or would I really not notice a difference? Boost is a possibility in the future of this engine.

Any other suggestions as to what I should use? Just looking for something simple that would be easy to adapt the TPS to the stock M42 wiring.

Are you using the stock ecu? If so you would need to use a thottlebody with the same type of TPS on it . I dont think boost will care a lot how big your TB is.

Yes, stock ECU/wiring. Did you not read any of my first post?

Yes, i did, i didn't see anything about the ecu. Why not just remove the complex linkage and fab or adapt a simple arm or pulley on the stock TB?
