    Mass Air Auto-X class?

Can I still run in SCCA CSP with a mass air sensor or will it bump me to a street modified class?

I bet one could hollow out a AFM case, and snap it over the MAF

    Who would know?? 8)

in all honesty...it depends on how honest YOU want to be...i highly doubt that anyone will notice the MAF over the AFM...A turbo sitting on the exhaust side though...may be a little hard to cover up.

You guys don't read, do you?

            C. Carburetors, fuel injection, intercoolers and intake manifolds are unrestricted. Alternate throttle linkage and connections to facilitate installation of allowed induction systems are permitted, but may serve no other purpose
An MAF would be "fuel injection".

No no one reads. This is from another post.

the spec e30 guys were having a problem with the bar not fitting correctly into the mounts. Looked like they used the same centerline for the 19 bar the the stock14.5 used and the larger diameter interacted with the mounting brackets. The new ones should have a larger center to center bend/ w
What I was trying to say is that the bars HAVE been re-released and you can get them at shox.com. Sizes are Dia. front-7/8", rear-3/4." Which I believe is just the same as they were before. I was jsut wondeing if anyone knew what had been changed if anything. they may be including a reinforcement kit or something now.

Well he said "The new ones should have a larger center to center bend". No one knew if the bars had been changed for SURE, thats why I asked. That was the change he thought they would make. They may however have left the bar completely the same and only updated the mounting brackets for the sway bars by using some kind of bolt through bracket like the kit that Turner Motorsport offers.

Well, IF the AFM -> MAF conversion facilitated a class change, THEN my comment would be relevent...but no, i did not go through and read the changes. I also did not say that it would bump him into another class. I merely looked at the situation from a moral standpoint.

Yeah, Im not into trying to cheat my way into a class. I just want to stick in Street Prepared and max out all my options there.
