That's really nice shifter but kinda out of my price range since the SSKs from BMA are only about $65-$70 shipped with all the hardware I need.

I'm kinda interested in the Z3/4 2.5 or 2.8 but would opt. for the 1.9 if getting them bent is too much of a pain in the ass.

                Is the B&M SSK pre-bent?

second the B&M - went in easy, and got rid of that "spoon in a bowel of mash potatoes" feel. Pretty notchy now, but I love it.

Besides, if you ever decide to get an e36 or e46, it works in them too. BTW, I have the two-part isolated one, not the race version.

I have the Z4 3.0 ssk in my car and i had to bend the selector rod but it wasn't a pain at all. all you do is take 3 sockets. one on one side and two on the other side and tape them to the selector rod then use a table vice until it bends. worked for me and i love the 3.0 the shift is like nothing compared to stock

Ritalin Kid, did you even read the huge topic in the FAQ forum about short shifters?

It's not THAT big of a decision man, just pick one, bend the selector rtod if you have to, and call it a day. I installed the Z4 2.5 SSK in to my car with no bending of anything, although I do not have that stupid harmonic balancer thing on my driveshaft.
