    M44 Swap gone wrong..

    Recently dropped an M44 from a 318ti cali edition. Engine went in fine and wire loom was installed in miami by active autowerke(amazing place). The problem is they had the ecu sent out to get the ews deactivated and now upon arrival and installation the car wont turn over? after some investigation it seems the computer isnt sending a signal to the cranks sensor basically not making a spark. I figure its an ecu problem so what to do next?

    If anyone down in miami has or knows someone with a 318ti or 318i past 1996
    and can meet me at active autowerkes to test the ecu i will definitely compensate!

    I bet they programmed the wrong thing. What year was your m44 made? Or better yet, what year is the ecu?

    1-96 to like 8-96 or something like that were OBD2 without an airpump. Your ECU and whatever else has to or has not to be setup to operate an airpump.
