    318is: How much fluid?

So I figured why not change out all the fluid in the 318... Can anyone help me out, how many quarts of transmission fluid and differential fluid do i need :?: Thanks.

Buy 2 quarts for the transmission and 1 for the differential.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

        Which kind of fluid?

Hi! I have read a lot of threads about changing the transmission and differential fluids. But I always have wondered wich kind of fluid? I live in a tropical country where the average temperature is about 24-26 C and my mechanic tells me that I should put the "Normal" 80W-90 in both places? Would that be allright? Should I put another kind of oil? I know that I should go to the dealer and buy their oil, but for now I can't do that.

Thanks, and sorry for my english.

80w90 would work in your differential. I'm not sure about the transmission though.
