Using '87 325is exhaust on an early 325e

I'm new to your forum. Wondering if anyone has ever installed the factory BMW exhaust system intended for the 1987 325is on an early 325e. Since the '84 -'87 325e/325 body sheetmetal is identical to the 1987 325is, thinking that it would be possible. I currently have an Ansa exhaust from the cat-back, but would prefer the factory BMW system for its fit and quality. Thanks.

      Yes. http://www.strictlyeta.net/exhaust.html

This is a technical article that covers putting a "I' exhaust on a "e".

Nice to see you've made it here! :D
