I busted the center support bushing on my driveshaft at an autox on saturday.... so i replaced it today and went to start the car and the car doesnt start?!?! what the hell? since when does changing a driveshaft affect how a car runs? anyways there is no fuel because i took the fuel pump cover off, turn on the key, i dont hear anything, (its a walboro 255 btw) and took a test light to the pump and nothing... i dont know which fuses do what cause i have a clear cover, can someone tell me where the fuel pump fuse is?
anddddddd i'm not getting spark i tried grounding the wire coming from the coil to a ground and no spark... so i changed the coil.. still nothing, but with a test light i get power to the coil... is there some kind of mechanism that stops giving it spark if theres no fuel or vise versa? i'm pretty new to bmw's but not new to working on cars... so any help is very much appreciated!
