My shop has found something wrong with the gas tank from my donar body and I wanted to make sure the gas tank from my 90 325i would be okay to go into my 87 325 body. Somebody help I need this car back soon.

Won't work. It may physically fit, but fuel pumps are different, and it won't have the little transfer pipe under the car either.Adam Fogg- '88 M3

You could just change out the fuel lines/pumps as well if you really wanted

I have a fully operational tank/pump out of a 90i and my shop said there was somethnig worng with the tank/pump in the '87 325 and I wanted to make sure that it could be done. so if the tank fist and I run a line itll work?HDE30 <3Comment

You'll have to do some wiring also, to make the pump work.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

if i cant get one off a junked car the shp wont have any problems doing the wiring this guys amazng with wiring stuff. thanks for the input.HDE30 <3Comment
