    ignition fail..help :(

alright. so i got in my car the other day and turned the key. it unlocked the steering wheel but thats it. so i figure the lock cylinder is bad. pull it out and the lock cylinder itself turns perfectly fine with the key in it. so i try using a screwdriver on the ignition switch and thats where its stuck and wont turn. any ideas on wtf is wrong with it or what to do?? its stuck in the parking lot at work...and i just want to drive it :(

    Rundown:
key turns perfectly fine in cylinder lock

ignition switch fails at turning via screwdriver AKA this is the problem. (goo looking stuff is lubricant that was previously in there)

anyone know how to fix or what to doooo???

    any help is much appreciated.
